The use of this Dorology online store (“Website”) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions, the Privacy/Security Policy and any additional terms and conditions, rules, disclaimers and notices displayed by us elsewhere on this Website from time to time (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Terms and Conditions”). Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Website. The Terms and Conditions apply to all visits and use of this Website, as well as to the Content, information, recommendations, products and/or services provided to you on or through this Website. Additionally, by using this Website, you acknowledge and agree that Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure.


In making a purchase from Dorology you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this agreement. These terms and conditions may be changed or amended at any time.


1. General

In describing and displaying our products on our Website, we attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that the product descriptions or other Content of the Website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability from time to time without prior notice. If a gift collection purchased on the Website is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it to us. Please see our ‘Return Policy’ below for more details.


We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products within the gift collection that appear on the Website. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate, complete, reliable or error-free.


2. Payments

When making a purchase from Dorology, you must follow the instructions on the website as to how to make your purchase and for making changes to future purchase before you submit it to Dorology. Once you select a gift collection that you wish to purchase, you will then be shown on our website the charges you must pay including GST.


Dorology uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet.


All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.

  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
  • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Dorology Pty Ltd or any outside party.
  • All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
  • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
  • eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.

3. Cancellation of Purchases/Returns

We do not accept cancellations so please choose carefully. Items cannot be exchanged or refunded for change of mind. We may cancel an order if a product/s is not available for any reason. We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made. We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for the gift collection.

5. Tracking Your Gift Package

Once your order has been shipped we will send you an email with tracking information on how to track your gift package at any time. It is very easy to track your gift package. Just visit the online tracking tool given and enter the tracking number and click search.


6. Faulty/Damaged Products

In the unfortunate event that a gift has been damaged through the delivery process, we will replace the gift collection. You shall inspect the goods immediately upon their arrival and shall within five (5) working days give notice to Dorology if the goods are not in accordance with specified requirements. If you fail to give such notice, the goods shall be deemed to be in all respects in accordance with the specified requirements. No claim shall be recognised unless made in writing and received by Dorology within five (5) working days after receipt of goods by you. The total amount of any claim shall not exceed the actual invoice value of the goods claimed to be faulty.


If your product has been damaged and you have notified Dorology within 5 working days, Dorology will make arrangements for the item to be returned at our cost. Once the returned product is received and reviewed Dorology will work with you on the next available options.


We do not deem faulty or damaged boxes or packaging to be a refundable item.


In order to provide you with any remedies for a faulty/damaged Product, we may need your assistance and prompt provision of certain information regarding the Product, including:

  • You specifying with reasonable detail the way in which it is alleged that the Product is damaged or defective
  • You providing us with the delivery note number and such other information as we reasonably require.


7. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for gifts that are shipped and delivered to the recipient without any damage so please choose your product carefully. Once payment for an order has been accepted we offer no refunds or exchanges.


We aim to deliver exactly what was ordered but human error may happen from time to time. Please check that what you ordered was what was delivered. If by any chance you were given a different gift collection to what was ordered, you must notify Dorology within five (5) working days from the date the product was delivered. Dorology will assist you with making arrangements to have the product returned at our expense. Once the returned product is received and reviewed, Dorology will arrange the correct gift collection to what was ordered on your confirmation receipt.


8. Accounts, Passwords and Security

Certain features or services offered on or through the Website may require you to open an account (including setting up an Account ID and password) and to share Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Apart from the representations made in the Privacy Policy on the Website regarding our protection of your information, you are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your Account ID and password, and for any and all activity that occurs on or under your account.

The prices listed in this website are inclusive of GST.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).


11. Gift Wrapping and Gift Cards

Please note that all Dorology gift packaging is complimentary when purchasing a gift collection from Dorology. Please refer to ‘Our Packaging’ for more detail on our packaging. Our packaging has been carefully thought out for each gift collection and we are pleased to provide complimentary packaging which is detailed, glamorous, luxurious and sophisticated. Each gift collection is packed in a gift box and embellished with ribbons and a gift tag. Note that you can choose the colour of your ribbon during the gift purchase process for that personal touch. If no selection is made by you, we will use our black and gold signature gift packaging. Dorology will enclose your personal message with each gift collection on a beautiful complimentary Dorology gift card. Simply fill out the message area on the order form. Please note that we may vary the gift packaging from time to time depending on availability, season, gift type and to keep up with latest gifting trends.

13. License to use the content on this Website

You acknowledge that this Website and all related content are subject to copyright and possibly other intellectual property rights (“Intellectual Property Rights”).


We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to access and use this Website solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.


We (or our licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in and to this Website and all related content, and nothing you do on or in relation to this Website or any of the related content will transfer any Intellectual Property Rights to you.


As provided in these terms and conditions, permission to reprint or electronically reproduce this Website or any related content in whole or in part for any other purpose is expressly prohibited, unless prior written consent is obtained in writing directly from us at Dorology.


Subject to applicable law, we may revoke the permission referred to at any time and may suspend or deny, in our sole discretion, your access to all or any portion of this Website without notice.

16. Entry of the Contract

Any purchase of a product from Dorology is considered to be a contract with Dorology and the purchaser only. The purchaser should carefully read the terms and conditions of Dorology as well as the FAQ’s on Dorology’s website to ensure that all products they purchase are fit for consumption by the purchaser i.e. for allergy sufferers please read the section “Allergies”. Dorology is not liable for any damage suffered as a result of any related or unrelated third party consuming the products purchased from Dorology.


17. Allergies

Our products are sourced from third parties and we ensure that the products we use always list peanuts and tree nuts in the ingredient statement on the package when a product contains peanuts or tree nuts. Consumers should read this statement carefully.


The ingredient statement on the package is the best source to determine what is in the product. If you are allergic or sensitive to certain foods or ingredients, you should always carefully read the ingredient statement and any allergen statements to ensure the product does not contain ingredients of concern to you and any third party.


Dorology’s gift collections may include products such as chocolates, towels, candles, beauty products and glassware to name a few.


Our supplier’s manufacturing facilities meet with the highest standards of cleanliness, and they maintain all allergen cleaning and Quality Control protocol on file. We recognise the needs of our customers who have allergies or sensitivities to nuts, gluten, certain spices, etc. Dorology’s suppliers always fully disclose all ingredients on the ingredient statement and will answer any questions that will help consumers decide what products they can safely consume.


18. Alcohol Policy

Dorology supports the responsible service of alcohol. Under the Liquor Control Reform Act, it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol for, anyone under 18.


Liquor and Gaming NSW has set out the following rules for Gift and Hamper Companies who sell alcohol in their gift boxes and/or hampers:

  • 2L is the maximum volume of alcohol in each gift box
  • the gift must be packaged and presented in such a manner that it would be taken to be a gift
  • the gift can only be delivered to another adult who is not the purchaser
  • the gift cannot be delivered to a person at the location where the gift was purchased

For all gift boxes (including those selected via CurateD, the ‘build your own’ gift box online feature), you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the gift order is over the age of 18 and the person receiving the gift order is over the age of 18. Please ensure that the recipient is aged 18 years and over and is available to receive the delivery.
Gift boxes with alcohol need to be accepted and signed by the adult who is the recipient of the gift and cannot be the sender of the gift. At the point of delivery, the courier will request to see evidence of their age and identity by sighting a current Australian driver’s license, Australian proof of age document or passport before handing over the gift package.
Gift boxes containing alcohol cannot be delivered with an ‘Authority to Leave’.
